Toledo's medieval urban layout offers you a walk in past times, inside its ancient walls. In Toledo lived the moores, christians and jews peacefully for quite a long period, hence it receives the name of "The City of The Three Cultures". Renowned for its Damascus steel craftsmanship since the times of Al Andalus, after over taking the city from the Visigoths, whom had set capital in Toledo itself. This germanic culture was responsible for tearing down the Roman Empire, Hispania or Spain, included. During Roman times, city's name was Toletum, although its foundation stones start with the Vikings
